Background in Medium
I make most of my sculptures out of Captain Creative Super Puffs (formally called Magic Nuudles), which are essentially packing peanuts. I have been making them since I was 8 years old, and over those years, my methods and skills have improved, enabling me to make them bigger, heavier and more detailed.
Skills
For the past three years, I have been using a metal armature skeleton and building off of it with two layers: the "flesh" layer and the "skin" layer. The flesh layer is where I fill out the basic shape and the skin layer is where the detailing comes in.
Experience
Since I have been modeling with Super Puffs everything like them for over a decade, I have become very familiar with their strengths and weaknesses, enabling me to work around or with them.
